We built this wall piece for a customer who loves Alaska! We used a full sheet of 3/4” Baltic birch plywood finished with a gunstock stain. We then built a full border and a matching lower shelf out of some beautiful walnut pieces. Walnut coffee table restored ✅. Check out the last pic for the before and after! While restoration of furniture isn’t one of the things we normally do, we’re always happy to help a friend. Yes the glass is shattered, but it actually came from a plane! So we sanded everything down, fixed some slight issues, and voila! For those interested in why the glass top is shattered, this part is for you! This piece of glass came out of an A7E Corsair ||. While over enemy forces, this plane took 12 bullets directly to the windshield and that piece of glass was used to make the top of this table! We want to extend a huge thanks to @evansquilling and her husband Marc for allowing us to build this awesome kitchen island. The 4 legs were actually salvaged from the recently torn down Newburg Inn. In order to preserve them, we cleaned each one up and ensured they were stable by filling any cracks or defects with epoxy. My friend @johnmparks asked us to build him a black walnut cutting board out of a downed tree he gave us. We said absolutely and got to work. Once the first one was finished he immediately turned around and ordered three more, and here they are! 3 black walnut cutting boards complete with juice groove and feet. The last board also has the juice groove and feet, but this one is made out of Jetoba (Brazilian Cherry.) This was an absolute monster of a project to attempt in a small shop. The latest project to come out of the shop is actually a 3 piece set. This cutting board with a juice groove, serving tray, and custom set of chopsticks was made for my good friend @clayton.wittman. The cutting board and serving tray are composed of different woods such as jetoba, (also known as Brazilian cherry) maple, black walnut, padauk, bloodwood, and purpleheart. We’re proud to present the latest rustic American Flag. This flag was the most intricate we’ve made so far. Not only does it have the United States Navy emblem within the stars, it also has shelves built in to every white stripe which were designed to hold coins. We were very excited to make this absolute beast of a tv stand. This thing is a whopping 7’ long and 43” tall. Complete with two shaker style cabinet doors and fully adjustable shelves in all three bays. We went for a rustic look and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
